Welcome to the Valorian Socialist Republic, a nation on the edge of reality, where the people are tired, the animals are nightmarish, and the plants get up and walk when you're not looking. The VSR has been undergoing some political changes lately- just 25 years ago their king was overturned in a violent revolution.
Colette Geise wasn't very involved in politics, she was more focused on her career as a seamstress. Unfortunately, she got a magical superweapon fused to her skull, so she's now embroiled in a devious witch's plot to restore the monarchy. Now her only hope is to join up with a pair of eccentric smugglers and embark on a bizarre road trip, scamming and thieving across Belle Epoque-era Europe as she seeks to get rid of her lethal new head-mate.
